Mountain Troll Slayer

PvE solo farming build. i can make this work against the minos in Elona, the trolls outside Droks, i havent tried but i think it should work with the rune dropping ettins too.

i Use thee atributes, but you can alter them as you like as long as you have at least 13 Expertise, wich makes barrage cost 2 energy.

Expertise 10 + 1 + 3
Marks 12 +1
Healing Prayers 8

Skills

Barrage {Elite}
Lightning Reflexes
Throw Dirt
Whirling Defense
Serpent's Quickness
Vigorous Spirit
Live Vicariously
-empty spot-

Healing breeze, good to get used to the build. you wont die easily with this
Favorable Winds, speeds up the killing, +6 damage per arrow is good

Equipment

A zealous max damage bow is essential to manage energy, the second mod doesnt really matter, if you can get one, damage +20% against trolls is the best available.
full droks sruids armor, or its 15k counterpart.

This build as stated above is used to farm the minos in elona reach and the mountain trolls near droks.
The objective is to keep the enemies from hiting you and heal whatever damage they manage to deal with Live Vicariously and Vigorous Spirit.
Keeping a permanent 75% chance to evade/block the enemys attacks is what you want. this is done by running this circle indefently:

Serpent's Quickness quickly followed by Whirling Defense , this makes Whirling Defense come back faster, then make sure you pack your enemies close to each other, when Whirling Defenseis flashing, Throw Dirt the pack of enemies, if you manage to blind all of them, youll be quite relaxed. When you see that the bllindness has worn off, cast Lightning Reflexes.
When Lightning Reflexes begins flashing, Serpent's Quickness and Whirling Defense should be reaqdy to cast again.
This is why a high stat in expertise is needed, to maximize the time of te stances.
Of course you will have to be under the both healing enchantments ALL the time, and in my build, casting healing breeze whenever you feel HP is dropping too fast. And just keep spamming Barrage

Warning : Allways make sure you have a target, i have died some times cause my primary target died and i was spamming barrages to no one
Be careful with the Avicara before reaching the troll cave, never aggro them, if needed just teleport back to droks and they will spawn in a different place.

Credit: i have seen similar builds, so i would say this is a community build

I use this build all the time for farming, it's quite effective.

I have a couple of comments though:

Vigorous Spirit/Live Vicariously:
Both are enchantments, but one's permanent and the other's 30 seconds I believe. I use Vigorous Spirt mainly because I use a Gargash Recurve for farming and can't afford the 1 arrow energy regen, but Live Vicariously is good if you don't want it to putter out or if your bow (like mine) has a 15% while Enchant Mod.

You should ony use one or the other, not both since it defeats the purpose IMO. I take Healing Breeze to boost HP regen in a pinch.

Serpent's Quickness vs. Lightning Reflexes:
SQ is a really good choice for recharging, but I use Lightning Reflexes for when Whirling Def is down and to up the spam speed of Barrage. I find it more effective too because it doesn't wear off under conditions. The only problem is that if you use LR and you don't have a group, your Energy's gonna drop FAST.

Empty Slot Options:
Storm Runner- When $#!t goes wrong.
Winter- Pack with the Ice+15 armor for better defense against magic.
Distracting Shot- I use this for Hydra/Drake Hunting, those heavy hitting spells take a while to charge.
Favorable Winds- You already said it, but I like it that much.
Rebirth- I take at least 2-3 henches, so this is a must for me. May sap energy like a *****, but gives you distance and pull needed for saftey.
Cap Signet- When Elite Hunting, Nuff Said.

=/ Against the Trolls, if i dont have vigourous spirit at all times im dead for sure, it is +70 HP every 1,5 seconds.

i will try the lightining reflexes, and post about it later

I don't know if you know this already, but NEVER take henchmen to farms, they steal all your drops. Meaning they make drops happen less often.

Are you using a zealous bow string? That will give you 5-6 energy each barrage when you hit them all bunched up(not sure how many arrows max you fire).

Sorry i meant it is still energy cost 5.

I am using a zealous bow string.
And this build is totally not working, i blind them and wild survival and by the time it dies out i have no time to put it back on and i get slaughtered.

Maybe because yours is 14?
how do you get a +3 +1, i have a +3 exp rune which is killing -75 health, but i dont see where you get the other +1 i though you can only use 1 rune per attribute...

+1 from mask.

And it will still read 5 energy on the skill but when you use it it only takes 2 energy.

Nope, not when you're not being hit 75/90% of the time. Zealous barrage is much better and more consistent here.
